Terms of service

CostHuntr is a tool to track subscriptions and bills (software, domain names, servers, insurance…), published by Alexandre Vassard, 10 rue de la Paix, 75002 Paris, SIREN 880 024 864 (sole proprietor). It is meant for businesses, associations and freelancers, for professional use.

It helps track costs and renewals; it cancels nothing for you, and its reminders are a help, not a guarantee.

You provide accurate information and keep your credentials to yourself. An account is personal; to work together, invite your colleagues into your organization.

Organization administrators manage its members, plan and settings, and answer for how it is used.

The free plan is free, with no time limit. The Pro and Team plans are paid, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown on the pricing page. A new organization gets a 14-day Pro trial.

Payment goes through Stripe. The subscription renews automatically every period; you can cancel it at any time from the Plan page, it ends at the end of the paid period, which is not refunded.

VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

Term: the contract runs for the paid period (a month or a year) and renews tacitly for an identical period, until cancelled.

Paid plans are paid in advance, by card. Should any sum remain unpaid when due, late-payment penalties accrue by right at three times the French legal interest rate, and a fixed recovery indemnity of 40 € is owed (article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code).

If your organization moves to a lower plan, it keeps everything it already has, and simply cannot create beyond the new plan's limits.

You only forward to CostHuntr invoices your organization is entitled to share. CostHuntr reads them on its behalf, as a processor under the GDPR; a data processing agreement is available on request.

Automatic updates follow what is billed. Unusual cases (new vendor, an amount that moves by more than 20%, a currency change) wait for your validation.

The data you enter stays yours. CostHuntr only uses it to provide the service, as the privacy policy describes. You can export it (expenses as CSV, on Pro and Team) and delete your account or organization at any time.

We do our best for CostHuntr to be available and accurate, without being able to guarantee it at all times: maintenance, outages or an unavailable third-party service may interrupt it. CostHuntr cannot be held liable for a renewal that was not cancelled or for a decision made on the strength of its figures.

Should CostHuntr be held liable, its liability is limited to the sums your organization paid it in the twelve months before the event at issue, and excludes indirect damages: loss of revenue, data, time or reputation.

Using CostHuntr to send unlawful content or trying to disrupt it is forbidden; an account that does so may be suspended.

If these terms change on an important point, administrators are told by e-mail at least 30 days before. Using CostHuntr afterwards means accepting them; otherwise, you can leave at any time.

These terms are governed by French law. In case of disagreement, write to us first (contact@costhuntr.fr): we will look for an amicable solution before any action.

Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute falls to the courts of the publisher's registered seat.
